THE FLIPPED CLASSROOM

There are many articles and definitions floating around in the world of Academia about the flipped classroom. Just so, there are many approaches you can take to flipping your own classroom. But the bottom-line is that you are freeing up valuable in person face-time with your students by assigning them tasks to accomplish on their own as homework.

Primarily, the tasks the students do own their own represent the front-loading aspects to each new section or topic; these are our traditional "lectures." But lectures can be boring whether they are in person or taped, so I will be suggesting ways to make the out of class aspects more engaging for your students.
