AUDIO RECORDING & EDITING

As mentioned in the Video Recording page, OneNote has a built-in Audio recording option, that may work perfectly for many of you. I will recommend purchasing an inexpensive microphone to connect into your computer. Even though this microphone at $20 is on the bottom end of what is available, it makes a tremendous difference in the quality of your home recordings!

For editing, I still recommend taking advantage of Windows Video Project tool for simple projects. For more complicated audio projects, you might want to use Audacity. It is a free open-source downloadable application and can handle the integration of several tracks into one sound file. It is also very user friendly.
